OUR TEAM
Eva Cadalso - Registered Osteopth
Graduated as an osteopath from the British School of
Osteopthy, currently the University College of Osteopathy in 2003. Since then, I have been working as a family therapist with an interest in sports as I had studied a previous degree in sports
science and physical education in Madrid, my home town.
Since my children came along, I developed an
interest in helping expectant and post partum mothers, as well as babies and children. These led to embarking on a two year advanced post graduate paediatric course to obtain a diploma in this
field by the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
Afterwards, I volunteered for one year at the
Osteopathic Centre for Children.
I use a broad spectrum of techniques from very
gentle Cranial ones to soft-tissue stretching and joint manipulation, as appropriate to the individual patient. In addition I employ kinesiology tape, dry needling and cupping where
appropriate.
I strive to reinstate good health and improve it so that my patients can achieve their goals by empowering them to do so.
Valeska Acosta- Registered Osteopath, associate
I am so pleased to be working in the South Norwood Clinic and providing Osteopathic health care to the community.
Previously I worked in an international organisation for 20 years in a mostly desk-based position. It was from my own health needs that I found osteopathy and was
inspired to choose it as a profession.
I qualified with an Integrated Masters degree from the University College of Osteopathy (now the Health Sciences University since August 2024). After obtaining my
qualification I worked on a one year graduate osteopath scheme run by the Centre for Osteopathic Research and Excellence (CORE Clapton) treating patients who were living with numerous conditions and
experiencing chronic pain.
Osteopathy has a number of disciplines, my training grounds my treatment style in structural osteopathy but I have gained a lot of cross training experience and
incorporate other techniques which have enriched my treatments plans. I enjoy the holistic nature and collaborative process of treating and the ability to make a difference. As
a therapist I am always looking at ways of expanding my knowledge and my areas of interest are chronic pain, back pain and shoulder problems.
